Pride month is a celebration that goes beyond parades and parties.
It’s about celebrating authenticity, individuality, and acceptance. Every June, we recognize LGBTQIA+ history and the brave souls who paved the way – among them: Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Miss Majo, among countless others – for those who belong to the community to live their truths.
This community has come so far and there’s still so much to fight for, but this month is a recognition of each and everyone’s personhood, exactly as they are.
